Rev. Audrey Carter & her husband Randy
I answered the call of God to preach the Gospel in 2002. Shortly after that, I was asked to seek God to find my mission for my ministry and to write a mission statement. I prayed and God spoke these words to me, “Surrender your will for My will, be led by My Spirit, and help liberate people to walk in My freedom!” Galatians 5:1 reads “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” It is my desire to help men, women, and children of all ages to realize their purpose in Christ Jesus and walk in it. I pray that God’s perfect will be done in my life and the life of my family always.
I am so thankful for my wonderful husband, Randy, and my four handsome sons Randall, Ivey, Josh, and Josiah! I have truly been blessed to have been raised by Godly parents, Harold and Elizabeth Simpson, who have taught me to love and serve the Lord. It has been an added blessing to have been able to work with my brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Jennifer Simpson, in the music ministry here at Maranatha for many years now. I am so thankful for all of my family (natural born and Spirit born)!
I thank God for His favor in my life and I know that He has placed me under a loving and compassionate man and woman of God, Pastor Byron and Mrs. Dianne Murray. Their support and belief in me encourages me each day. It is a great honor to be chosen by my Pastor and his wife to serve beside them as Associate Pastor. I know that they have prayed and sought God to lead them in this decision and I believe that God has great things in store for us all here at Maranatha. Together we will see great and marvelous things accomplished as we work together in His Spirit! Zechariah 4:6 …”not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of host.” With God all things are possible!
All praise and glory to God!
